The slave trade went on from about 1670 to 1802. The Danish slave trade was actually abolished in 1792 by Christian the seventh, but it came into force in 1803. LANGUAGE
When you hear the thick accents Ghanaians have when they speak English, you might not expect that English is their official language- but who’s to blame them? Ghanaians speak more than 40 languages throughout the country. Most of the population speaks more than one language, and entire 67,1% speak the language Akan.
